ABU DHABI RACE GUIDE GET THE GUIDE

The Abu Dhabi GP with kids

Updated 6 November 2026 · Checked against official sources

Race week is one of the most family-friendly Grands Prix on the calendar, with theme parks next door. Here is what to know before you take the children.

Ages and tickets

Protect their ears

F1 cars are loud, especially near the start line and in the grandstands. Bring proper ear defenders for children (not just foam plugs), and get young children used to wearing them before the trip.

Food, bags and comfort

The theme park day

A 4-day race ticket includes one day at one of Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World or SeaWorld (or teamLab Phenomena), plus free entry to museums including the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Natural History Museum. For families, that can make the 4-day ticket better value than a shorter one.

Family fan zone

In 2025 there was a free Family Fanzone at Yas Bay Waterfront with live F1 on big screens, films and music, with no race ticket needed. It hasn't been confirmed for 2026 yet.
