Terms of sale & use

What you're buying

Digital guides (PDF files, a spreadsheet and the Circuit Navigator for your phone), delivered by download link straight after payment. You don't receive anything physical, and the guide doesn't include race or concert tickets.

Your licence

Your purchase is for personal use by you and the people you travel with. Please don't resell, share publicly or republish the files.

Accuracy

We check information against official sources and link to them. Event details such as session times, concert line-ups, prices and transport can change, so always confirm with the official organisers before you book or travel. We'll send free updates to Ultimate and Luxury buyers if anything important changes before race week.

Independence

We are an independent guide. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Formula 1, the FIA, Yas Marina Circuit, the event organisers or any team. All trademarks belong to their owners.

Fan Lives community rules

• Only share links to your own streams, made for personal, non-commercial use, in line with the event's ticket terms.
• Be kind. No abuse, hate, harassment, spam or anything illegal.
• No content showing other people in a way they wouldn't be happy with.
• We check streams and comments before they appear, and can remove anything at any time.

Our responsibility to you

If the files are faulty or not as described, email us and we'll fix or replace them. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. We're not responsible for decisions made by third parties, such as event organisers, hotels, airlines or venues.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. If you buy as a consumer, this does not take away any rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.

Privacy

What we collect

• When you buy: your name, email address and order details. Payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see or store your full card number.
• When you use Fan Lives: the name or handle, stream link and grandstand you submit, and any comments you post.
• The Circuit Navigator: your race card, live link and settings are saved only on your own phone. We don't receive them.
• The live counter counts open guides anonymously. It doesn't identify you.

Why we use it

To deliver your guide and updates, provide support, run Fan Lives and keep it safe, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We don't sell your data.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the site, such as Stripe for payments and our hosting and email providers, each under their own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as the law requires for tax purposes. Fan Lives posts are removed after race week unless you ask us to remove them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@abudhabiraceguide.com. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
